SN: 51. Early American under hammer .31cal 6 shot pepperbox pistol marked Bacon & CO, Norwich CT. Cast steel. NRA condition is good to very good with lightly cleaned metal and wood grip. Good action and works well. One of an estimated 200 Pepperboxes manufactured from 1852 to 1858.
